We had a lovely weeks stay at Tin in the Willows the weather was perfect. Martin was good enough to show us around the farm and our granddaughter enjoyed feeding the animals. I would highly recommend Tin in the Willows to anyone thinking of staying there

The property has everything you need for a safe, quiet, relaxing break in a country location. It's comfortable and equipped with everything you need. we visited Ashbourne, Chatsworth, Matlock and the National Memorial Arboretum

Excellent house, very clean, very spacious. Wonderful location but is a little isolated and you will need to go everywhere by car. Great hosts who we saw looking after the Alpaca’s

We had a really lovely holiday at Tin in the Willows, Anne and Martin were very welcoming and helpful. Martin even offered us a tour of the farm with a chance to feed the alpacas. They are so curious we spent quite some time watching them watching us! The sheep were entertaining too, trotting up to the fence to say hello every time we passed. The holiday home is very new and spotlessly clean and great for our dog with lots of space outdoors and a good indoor layout. An excellent location with a beautiful countryside view, it is down a quiet country lane but only a few minutes drive to villages and on to Ashbourne. We found lots to do in the area including dog-friendly places to visit too. If you like star gazing don’t forget a telescope, with no street lights or house lights nearby, apart from your own, there is a good view of the night sky. Thank you Anne and Martin for making this such an enjoyable and relaxing holiday.

Wow! What a place, simply stunning. Great hosts, amazing communication and so informative. Loved the farm tour and our little one has been reciting facts from the day despite acting shy. The property is new, and has been refurbed to a very high standard, just hope all guests look after it so the standards stay high. Perfect layout for families and so quiet, would book again and will be once the wife gets her holiday calendar. Thankyou again for everything! Dan, Jess, Andy, Nat, Oscar & Little Rosie! X

We used the Tin in the Willows as the base for a family trip to visit Twycross Zoo & Gruffalo land and Alton Towers. A perfect location, easy to drive to both locations. The accommodation itself is absolutely stunning. Huge, spotless, open plan living space, beautiful location and very private and peaceful. Absolutely everything that you need to cater for everyone - the accommodation could be equally good without the kids too. The hosts were excellent, went above and beyond and the animals on the farm were an added bonus for our kids who went out to see them every morning, afternoon & evening! Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back again next year.

We had the most enjoyable holiday.
The Tin in the Willows is a very special place to relax and enjoy be surrounded by nature at its best.
The accommodation is perfect and every little detail has been thoughtfully designed. It's a perfect location to explore the Peak District so take a picnic and your walking shoes and you have a wonderful holiday and some brilliant memories.
